St. George’s

St. George’s is an orthodox Anglican Church in tradition. We strive to maintain and uphold the traditions of the Catholic faith as taught by the Apostles and the early Church Fathers. Sunday Sung Mass lies at the heart of our weekly worship and the Mass is also normally celebrated every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

We warmly welcome all to our Christian family.

In January 2010 we launched a new non-Eucharistic informal “Together in Worship” family service on the fourth Sunday of every month (except August) starting at 10.30am after breakfast which is normally served in the hall from 10.00am. This is Church – but not as we know it! The idea is to make Church more accessible for those wishing to explore the Christian faith in a friendly, safe environment. All are welcome!

St. George’s also has a Cell of Our Lady of Walsingham and supports the annual Glastonbury Pilgrimage.

We also support and host Guild of Servants of the Sanctuary meetings at St. George’s.
